Test your brain cells with this beautifully rendered strategy and logic game. The object of the game is to maximize your point score while clearing similar looking objects (geometric shapes, funny characters, and more, depending on the theme you select) from a playing field. Remove large groups of identical neighboring objects to score higher points—objects must be in grouped pairs or larger to clear from the field (clearing a measly pair won’t score you any points though). As similar objects are cleared, surrounding differing objects “fall” into the vacant spaces. The goal is to clear the playing field without stranding any singular objects. Requires a PPC running Mac OS 8.0 or later, and 32 MB RAM.
This fast-paced Japanese-style arcade action/puzzle game, similar in play to Bomberman, will have you battling enemies through various “maze” landscapes and planting bombs. Play through four unique worlds spanning 40 levels while blowing up different enemies with your Bowling Bombs, Remote Control Bombs, and Grenades. Challenge another player in a game of Death Match, Capture the Flag, or Steal the Ball. It also features a built-in map editor to create your own maps and graphics. This little arcade shooter has you in control of a cannon shooting at the flying insects above. Some of the bugs will drop down items that you can use like batteries to recharge your laser, flashing balls that will provide a shield, and a yellow cross that will upgrade your cannon into a laser. Most bugs will drop bombs—some of which are smart bombs that will follow your avoidence maneuvers. Requires a PPC.
Based on the classic styles of Choplifter abd Armor Alley, this side-scrolling helicopter game is a whole new beast. Pilot your AH-1A Cobra chopper to lead a coalition of Middle East countries in a battle against the invading Mercenary Alliance who seek to take control of their oil fields. This double package contains the demos for both Gridz and Battle-Girl. In Gridz, you lead an army of ToolBots composed of Workers, Strikers, and Hackers. The enemy ToolBots have taken over NetSpace and you must take it back grid by grid. Build your force of ToolBots and assign duties for each to get through levels and capture the enemy. In Battle-Girl, you take on the role of the heroine who must destroy all the virii released by the robot Terminus. Gridz is 68k and PPC compatible. Battle-Girl requires a PPC.
